Little Heidi Riding Hood and Lexis (Miss Sunshine)

In memory of my Lexi, our last Howl-o-Ween together. She crossed over on 9/6/13. Lexi went as ‘Miss Sunshine’ to the San Diego Golden Retrievers Group Howl-o-Ween Costume Contest and won Honorable Mention. Her sister, Heidi, went as Red Riding Hood or as I call her ‘Heidi Riding Hood’. Heidi was the unofficial mascot of the golden retriever group. She went with her sister to all golden events.

    • it is fun! to see all the golden costumes. a golden with a homemade ipad costume won last year. my favorite is the three goldens that came as rock, paper, scissors. how original!

  2. So sorry for your loss of your beautiful Lexi. She’s your special angel now. I hope you’ll be remembering her with more smiles than tears soon.

Thank you for stopping by Pooch Smooches yesterday!

    • thanks Jackie! Yes I am getting thru the days now without the water works. I still have my moments, like thinking about halloween without her. She will always be my inspiration!

  3. Oh, such sweet memories and lovely photos. I know Lexis will never leave your heart! Goldens are such special dogs. We have a friend here with a Golden named Charlie. We have kept him many times in our home and he is one of the most beautiful and best behaved dogs I have ever met.

    • thank you! i am such a golden fan. she was so well-behaved, motherly, and tolerant. she helped me so much with fosters and pet sitting.
