September 6, 2015 will be the second anniversary of Lexis (Lexi) leaving this earth. She is still in my heart and I think of her everyday. I miss her dearly! Love you, Lexi!

Today is the 8 month anniversary of Lexis crossing over. She watches over her siblings. The top photo is one of our many outings with the San Diego Golden Retrievers Group. She is giving kisses to the black dog. Lexis taught me to be kind to everyone and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Me, Lexis, and Heidi.
One day my daughter said, “Every big dog should have a little dog.” I thought about it a minute and thought this is our family. At the time, we had two big dogs and two little dogs. Lexis (golden) and Heidi (shih tzu) were best buds and Sydney (lab mix) and Zeus (shih tzu) played all the time.
Dogs don’t care how big or small other dogs are, what color they are, or if their hair is long or short, curly or straight. They like who they like!

One day at the beach I saw a big dog wearing a backpack with a little dog in one of the backpack pockets.

Phoebe
Phoebe is a beauty of a golden retriever in El Cajon, CA. Her mom loved pink and always had her styled like this. Her mohawk goes down to her tail. She has a pink collar and pink leash, too. Phoebe is very sweet and loving!
