The Bale Trail is a trail of displays and sculptures using hay bales or loose hay created by the residents of Todd County (Kentucky). The word ‘hay’, in any fashion, is part of the display.

I took Sydney and Heidi to a park/trail in Clarksville, TN. When we were entering the trail, Sydney stood in front of the sign like she was reading the rules. LOL

Me, Lexis, and Heidi.
One day my daughter said, “Every big dog should have a little dog.” I thought about it a minute and thought this is our family. At the time, we had two big dogs and two little dogs. Lexis (golden) and Heidi (shih tzu) were best buds and Sydney (lab mix) and Zeus (shih tzu) played all the time.
Dogs don’t care how big or small other dogs are, what color they are, or if their hair is long or short, curly or straight. They like who they like!

One day at the beach I saw a big dog wearing a backpack with a little dog in one of the backpack pockets.

Sydney played with Heidi for first time on February 6, 2014. I was gone all day but my daughter was home. This has never happened before in the year and a half Syd has been in our home. Heidi hardly plays with any dogs, unless it’s a Chihuahua. February 6th happens to be the five month anniversary of Lexi leaving this earth. Coincidence? I do not believe in coincidences. I believe things happen for a reason, whether we get it at the time or not.
They have played together every day since. I love watching them! Sydney gets very loud when playing, but not with Heidi, which is very unusual for Sydney. Heidi is really quiet. I think she’s teaching Syd to play quietly. 😉
