My first surfing lesson with my sister, Heidi, in 2009. Heidi’s mom is getting us use to the board before we go in the ocean. I had about 5 more lessons and could go out on the board by myself, but my legs weren’t strong enough to handle the waves (i was a senior). My sister didn’t really like it at all. ( she is a scaredy cat of the water). I am happy just to swim and roll around in the sand. I still go to the beach, my favorite place!
